Bollywood Actor Tiger Shroff Survives Mumbai Shooting

Bythearabmashriq

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is safe after a shooting incident in Mumbai and has not suffered any bullet injuries, Indian police said as they investigate the situation.

The 36-year-old was shot on Sunday evening while in a car leaving a football club in the suburb of Juhu.

Several news outlets released a video that shows a car crawling past a throng, as at least two gunmen fire multiple shots at close range into the front passenger seat.

The incident has raised concerns about public safety in India. Some have been killed or injured in deliberate attacks in previous years. We will not allow these attempts to frighten people and we will put a stop to this hooliganism’, said Eknath Shinde, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra state where Mumbai is located.

He visited Shroff on Sunday evening after the shooting and said the actor and his mother were left “shaken” by the attack. The son of two actors, Tiger Shroff made his acting debut in 2014 with the romance film Heropanti and went on to star in several films.

Local media stated, citing police, that two individuals were hurt in the incident, including Shroff’s driver. This is the latest in a series of recent attacks against some of the country’s biggest public figures.
