Takasago Launches New Creative Center in Dubai
The facility is an integrated fragrance creation center that houses state-of-the-art laboratories, bringing Takasago’s global expertise closer to customers and regional partners while blending its international capabilities with a deeper understanding of local cultures, olfactive traditions, and consumer preferences.
The opening of Takasago’s new Creative Center in Dubai is a reflection of the emirate’s standing as a global business and innovation hub, said Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vise President of Dubai Science Park, part of TECOM Group. We remain committed to offering a dedicated ecosystem, supported by world-class infrastructure, that enables businesses to expand their presence in Dubai and access new opportunities across regional and international markets, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’ goals.
The Middle East is no longer just one of the world’s fastest-growing fragrance marketplaces. It’s become one of the most powerful creative forces in perfumery,” said Bassel Kouchacji, Managing Director Fragrance Middle East, Takasago. “We are here for the long term in the region and the opening of our new Creative Center in Dubai is proof of that.
Over the past decade, Takasago has steadily built its footprint in the Middle East, starting with its 2015 launch in Dubai. Takasago’s new Creative Center in Dubai is designed to meet the specific demands of regional clients and create scents that resonate locally while reaching audiences beyond the region.
Takasago was established in Japan in 1920 and today has branches in 28 countries, further reinforcing the Dubai centre’s significance in its global research and innovation network.
The Creative Center will collaborate closely with Takasago’s global network of perfumers, assessors, scientists, and technical specialists to ensure a continual flow of expertise across its global network.
