Dubai RTA to Auction 60 Unique Car Number Plates on 24 October 2026
Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will auction 60 unique two-, three-, four-, and five-digit car number plates during its 121st public auction on October 24, 2026, at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City Hotel. The auction is expected to draw collectors, investors, and buyers of symbolic and investment plates.
Registration begins on Monday, October 19, 2026, on the RTA website and at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha. Participants can arrive at the auction venue at 2 pm on the day of.
The auction includes unique numbers AA, BB, CC, H, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z. Rare plates like the super double numbers BB80, BB18, and CC44 are available.
The assortment also includes eye-catching two-, three-, four-, and five-digit numerals with patterns and easy memory, as well as other unique combinations to suit different tastes.
Bidders need a Dubai traffic file and a refundable AED 25,000 security deposit. Participants who don’t win will have their deposits back. Registration costs AED 120 and is non-refundable.
Successful bidders must pay for their numbers within 10 business days of the auction. If not, the bidder will lose the security deposit and be placed on a non-compliant list.
Number sales are subject to 5% VAT. Subject to approval, individuals can own any number of unique plates. The RTA’s public auctions for distinctive numbers are part of its efforts to provide diverse options that meet customer aspirations and enhance the attractiveness of Dubai.
