How Arabian Horses Are Making Raghadan Forest More Attractive for Visitors

AL-BAHA — Visitors to Raghadan Forest Park during the Al-Baha Summer Season can get up close to purebred Arabian horses, with opportunities to ride, photograph, and learn about the animals.

Set against the forest’s mountainous terrain, dense vegetation, and cool mist, the initiative highlights the Kingdom’s equestrian legacy within one of the region’s top natural destinations.

Horse owner Mohammed Al-Zahrani said including the horses helped promote the Kingdom’s heritage while expanding recreational offerings for summer visitors.

Supported by mild weather and modern amenities, Raghadan Forest Park continues to cement its status as one of Al-Baha’s premier tourist hubs.

The region is also home to a wealth of natural wonders and ancient heritage sites. The bare, granite slopes of the Shada Al-Asfal mountains provide an awe-inspiring backdrop to an area rich in the distinctive culture and traditions of the Hejaz.
