According to Lauren Dreyer, Vise President of Starlink Business Ops, SpaceX’s satellite internet constellation and telecoms business Starlink is prepared to start operations in India as soon as the government gives the corporation permission to do so. 

According to Dreyer, the company has spent the last five years preparing for the Indian market and has established its operations with Indian security regulations in mind.

According to Dreyer, Starlink has already signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Jio and Airtel to prepare to serve Indian consumers. Dreyer claims that as Starlink gets set to start operations, it has already constructed infrastructure and made investments in India.

We have already invested in India,” she stated, mentioning the installation of hundreds of antennas and 20 gateway sites. According to Dreyer, the company has already established its operations and is therefore prepared to service the Indian market.

Our operations are established, and we are prepared to serve India,” she declared. SpaceX and India have been collaborating, according to Dreyer, who also emphasised the company’s role in transporting Shubhanshu Shukla to and from the International Space Station.

She stated, “We have transported Shubhanshu Shukla to and from the International Space Station.” Starlink would keep interacting with the Indian space industry, she continued.
