Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Week Welcomes Andrea Bocelli for Inaugural Yasalam Classics
DUBAI — Italian music legend Andrea Bocelli will perform at Yasalam Classics, a new concert series debuting during the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 race week.
Bocelli will take the stage at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Wednesday, December 2, accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. Yasalam Classics, produced by Ethara in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral, adds a classical music component to the Grand Prix’s entertainment program alongside after‑race concerts and official after‑parties.
This year’s lineup already features Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson, and Imagine Dragons, with more artists to be announced. Bocelli, who has captivated audiences for over three decades with works like “Con te partiro,” “Canto della Terra,” and “Ave Maria,” has sold more than 90 million records worldwide and performed at landmark events including the Olympic Games and the World Cup.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of his 1997 album “Romanza,” which produced some of his most celebrated works and became the best‑selling Italian‑language album of all time. His performance at Etihad Arena brings the “Romanza” 30th Anniversary World Tour to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race week.
