Airlifts for Sharjah Charity International 140 Tonnes of Winter help to Gaza

Sharjah Charity International (SCI) and Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continue to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as part of SCI’s “Warm Winter for Gaza” campaign.

On Sunday, Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SCI, saw the emergency supplies put together by the group at the Cargo Village of Sharjah International Airport.

The cargo jet will transport about 140 tonnes of assistance supplies including food and winter garments for kids, women and men. The consignment is ready to travel.

The consignment is part of the “Warm Winter for Gaza” program, implemented with the assistance of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

Sheikh Saqr extended his thanks to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in a statement sent to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The campaign comes in line with Sheikh Mohamed’s directives to intensify relief and humanitarian work to respond to the needs of people residing there and ease their lives, he said.

Since the launch of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in 2023, Sheikh Saqr stated the association has undertaken various humanitarian missions, including the winter clothing project. As a humanitarian organization, the group has remained determined to serve needy people, in particular children, women and the elderly, he said.
