MODON Targets Tabuk Industrial Growth With $3.7 Million Factory Opportunity

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, known as MODON, has announced an investment opportunity worth more than SR14 million ($3.7 million) to develop and operate 15 ready-built factories in Tabuk Industrial City.

The project will span a total area of 15,000 square meters and is expected to target an internal rate of return of 10 percent or higher, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The opportunity comes amid growing demand for ready-built factories in Tabuk Industrial City, where more than 45 applications have been submitted over the past three years from businesses looking to benefit from such facilities. The city currently operates eight ready-built industrial units, all fully occupied, reflecting strong ongoing demand for this type of industrial product.

The investment opportunity aims to expand the capacity of ready-built factories, provide suitable investment options for investors, accelerate the launch of new industrial activities and projects, and make full use of the integrated infrastructure and services available at Tabuk Industrial City.

The initiative forms part of MODON’s broader efforts to strengthen its partnership with the private sector, expand the industrial investment base, and develop new investment products and services, supporting growth in the industrial sector while contributing to economic development across the Tabuk region.

MODON has called on businessmen, investors, and other interested parties in the industrial sector to review the details of the investment opportunity and submit applications through the authority’s industrial opportunities portal.
