Princess Sarah Meets Pakistan Envoy in Riyadh to Discuss Shared Interests
RIYADH — Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, director of the International Dates Council, met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq at the embassy’s headquarters in Riyadh on Thursday.
The meeting discussed the completion of procedures for Pakistan’s accession to the council, the latest developments in the council’s work, and areas of cooperation to support the development of the date sector and strengthen international partnerships.
Princess Sarah stressed the council’s commitment to expanding its membership and enhancing cooperation with date-producing countries, contributing to the exchange of expertise and coordination of efforts to develop the date sector and promote its sustainability, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
