UAE Airports Back on Track as Air Traffic Operations Return to Normal
DUBAI – Air traffic in the United Arab Emirates has returned to normal operations after temporary precautionary measures were lifted, the country’s General Civil Aviation Authority announced Tuesday.
The authority had implemented a brief closure of the nation’s airspace earlier in the day as a precautionary measure amid regional security developments. The move came after the defense ministry stated it was responding to incoming missile and drone threats originating from Iran.
Following the assessment of the security situation, authorities determined it was safe to resume normal flight operations. The airspace closure was temporary and limited in duration, with all precautionary measures now lifted.
Airports throughout the UAE have resumed full operations, and air traffic is proceeding normally. The swift response and return to regular schedules reflects the coordination between aviation and defense authorities in managing the security situation.
