Iran Warns Conflict Could Spread Beyond Middle East if US Strikes Resume
TEHRAN — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a stark warning Wednesday, stating that any renewed US or Israeli attacks would push the conflict far beyond the Middle East.
“If the aggression against Iran is repeated, the promised regional war will this time spread far beyond the region, and our devastating blows will crush you,” the Guards said in a statement.
The warning follows President Donald Trump’s remarks that Washington could strike Iran again within days if no lasting settlement is reached. A ceasefire has been in place since April 8, but tensions remain high.
The nearly 40‑day war has already killed top Iranian leaders, including the supreme leader, and triggered retaliatory strikes across the region. Iran’s foreign minister cautioned that a “return to war will feature many more surprises.”
Meanwhile, Pakistani officials are visiting Tehran for further mediation.
