Jeddah Governor Welcomes Cyprus Ambassador for Diplomatic Talks
JEDDAH — Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi received Cyprus Ambassador Charis Moritsis on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and topics of common interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Separately, Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi met with Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative to the Arab League, Abdulaziz Al-Matar, in Cairo on Sunday. Their discussions focused on issues of mutual interest within the framework of joint Arab action.
The meetings come as Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen diplomatic ties with European and Arab partners. Cyprus has maintained growing economic and political cooperation with Gulf states, while the Arab League talks reflect ongoing coordination among member states on regional issues. Neither meeting produced public statements on specific outcomes.
