RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has issued a firm condemnation of Israeli military strikes on the Syrian town of Beit Jinn, which reportedly killed at least 13 people and injured 24 others, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).

In an official statement released on Friday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it described as “Israeli violations of Syrian territory” and rejected actions that threaten the stability and security of Syria and its people.

The statement emphasized the Kingdom’s call for the international community—particularly the permanent members of the UN Security Council—to take decisive action against repeated Israeli incursions into Syrian sovereignty. It also highlighted the need to address what it termed “criminal Israeli practices” affecting civilians in border regions.

Saudi Arabia urged the implementation of relevant international resolutions and laws to protect the “sovereignty, unity, and security of Syria and its brotherly people.”

The strike on Beit Jinn, a village in southern Syria, is the latest in a series of cross-border military actions that have drawn regional and international concern. The Saudi response reinforces its consistent diplomatic stance advocating for Syrian territorial integrity and broader regional stability.
