Training Session for Islamic Preachers Successfully Concludes in Thailand
BANGKOK — A comprehensive religious training program for Islamic preachers and community leaders concluded in Thailand on Thursday, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance through its Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy.
The session provided specialized instruction to 50 imams, preachers, and muezzins, focusing on core Islamic principles and accessible jurisprudence. Designed to strengthen participants’ understanding and communication of moderate Islamic teachings, the program emphasized both religious knowledge and community leadership.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative forms part of the ministry’s broader international efforts to promote thoughtful religious discourse rooted in the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. The curriculum highlighted values of tolerance, moderation, and accurate religious awareness, aiming to serve Muslim communities through informed and balanced guidance.
Such programs reflect a continuing commitment to supporting Islamic education abroad and fostering a religious discourse that contributes positively to social harmony and understanding.
