Moonglaze Becomes the First Saudi Beauty Brand to Launch at Sephora
In a milestone for Saudi entrepreneurship and regional beauty, the homegrown brand Moonglaze has launched at Sephora Middle East. This makes it the first Saudi beauty label to enter the global retailer’s prestigious ecosystem, both in-store and online exclusively across the region.
For founder Yara Alnamlah—an influencer, makeup artist, and entrepreneur—this achievement transcends business success. She describes it as “a celebration of cultural pride” and a pivotal step for Saudi and Middle Eastern voices in the international beauty conversation.
“What makes this moment truly groundbreaking,” Alnamlah shared, “is that it’s the first time a Saudi brand has entered Sephora’s retail ecosystem… This move showcases the growing influence, creativity, and excellence of Saudi and regional beauty innovators.”
A Philosophy Rooted in Radiance
Moonglaze’s journey is deeply personal, shaped by Alnamlah’s professional background and cultural heritage. The brand’s philosophy centers on enhancing natural beauty rather than masking it, a principle born from her belief in “healthy, glowing skin as the foundation of any great makeup look.”
This inspiration is woven into the brand’s identity. The name “Moonglaze” itself references the Arabic term “qamar,” often used to describe someone with a luminous, radiant quality. “Growing up in Saudi Arabia,” Alnamlah noted, “I’ve always been inspired by the cultural appreciation of beauty and the importance of glowing, radiant skin.”
A Full Collection Takes the Stage
The Sephora launch will feature Moonglaze’s full range, including its popular blush sticks, bronze pods, and highlighter sticks. The debut will also introduce new exclusives: the FEELS lip liners and MOODS water lip tints, marking their first availability.
This landmark follows the brand’s successful debut at Selfridges London in 2024, signaling its growing international appeal. By securing a place alongside the world’s leading beauty names at Sephora, Moonglaze has not only opened a door for its own products but has also paved the way for other regional brands to shine on a global platform.
The launch is more than a retail expansion; it is a statement. It reflects a new chapter where Saudi creativity, rooted in rich cultural pride and visionary entrepreneurship, claims its well-deserved spotlight—from Riyadh to the world.
