Saudi Awwal Bank Wins Best Operational Efficiency Award at CX Live 2025
Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest banks, received the “Best Innovation in Operational Excellence” award at the Operational Excellence Awards Middle East 2025, which was held with the Customer Experience Live Show. The announcement was made during the awards event on Tuesday, May 13, which honours organisations achieving substantial transformation in operational excellence across the Middle East.
The award recognises SAB’s outstanding achievements in improving operational performance through its flagship Ops2.0 Transformation Programme. This transformation program has been critical in standardising and digitising end-to-end processes, expanding personnel capacities, changing working methods, and using data-driven decision-making to improve everyday performance.
A team of distinguished industry judges chose SAB based on a thorough set of criteria, including excellence in service delivery, innovation in operational procedures, operational risk and control measures, and overall transformation effect.
Ghada Al Jarbou, SAB’s Chief Operating Officer, stated, “Our achievement highlights our transformative leadership in operations and the influence of our transformation journey in designing leaner, quicker, risk-free, and future-ready operations.
She said, “Through the Ops2.0 program, we have not only improved the effectiveness of operations but also laid the basis for scalable, data-driven growth that aligns with our broader goal to lead in innovative banking.
