Drone Attack Triggers Fire at Fujairah Oil Industry Zone in the UAE
DUBAI – A fire erupted at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone in the United Arab Emirates following a drone attack, authorities confirmed Tuesday.
The emirate’s media office reported that civil defense crews immediately responded to bring the fire under control. No injuries have been reported from the incident.
The fire broke out in the strategic oil facility after the drone strike, prompting a rapid emergency response. Civil defense personnel worked to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage to the installation.
The Fujairah Oil Industry Zone is a critical energy infrastructure site in the UAE. Authorities are continuing their response operations and investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
